In aviation weather observation, a description or explanation of the manner in which the height of the ceiling is determined.
ceiling, the overhead surface or surfaces covering a room, and the underside of a floor or a roof. Ceilings are often used to hide floor and roof construction.
Ceilings help create enclosure of and separation between spaces, they help to control the diffusion of light and sound around a room, and help prevent the passage of sound between rooms.
Etymology 1From Middle English celing (“paneling; (bed) cover or hanging”), from celen (“to cover or panel walls”) (from Old French celer (“to conceal”)) + -ing (gerund-forming suffix).
The structural ceiling is employed for integrating the structural support of a data center. With a load carrying capacity at any location in the ceiling tiles, the ceiling support ends up strengthening your cabling, power, containment, lighting and ceiling tiles.
By far the most common today is the same as that used for walls—drywall (also known as gypsum wallboard or by the trade name Sheetrock). Drywall is attached to a structure of ceiling joists with drywall screws or nails.
A part of a building which encloses and is exposed overhead in a room, protected shaft or circulation space. (The soffit of a rooflight is included as part of the surface of the ceiling, but not the frame. An upstand below a rooflight would be considered as a wall.)
Ceiling offers the largest unobstructed view of a room and it is the first thing people usually notice when they enter in a building or room. As a result, the ceiling is an important element of room interior design and defines it's aesthetics.

Extra space: A traditional closed ceiling often makes a room seem much smaller than it actually is, and an exposed ceiling gives the effect of extra space even in a crowded room. Having exposed ceilings also provides extra space for hot air to rise, making rooms cooler - this can be beneficial in warm climates.
